Vice Principal of Student and Administrative Affairs

Hello students, My Name is Jacqueline Thames, and I am the Vice Principal of one of the four major divisions of the institution- The student and Administrative Affairs Division. On behalf of my team, I  Welcome you to the Moneague College. We consider ourselves, "your opportunity for success." You are at the Moneague College for what is sure to be a transformative and life-changing experience; an opportunity to grow and contribute to the growth of others. Let me assure you that you are at the at the right place, at the right time; specially selected for such a time as this. The college is indeed very happy to open its doors to you and we hope that your tenure here will bring as much satisfaction to you as it will give us to assist you in charting your career pathway. You are here because you have earned your place and we look forward to the newness and freshness that you will bring to this exciting and diverse learning community.

We are in the middle of a worldwide pandemic as a result of the COVID-19 virus, but as a learning community we see opportunities to diversify the student experience in a way that will add meaningfulness, creativity and novelty in our academic and social exploits in a manner that preserves health and safety for all. We invite you to embrace the new experiences, opportunities and challenges that the new learning environment may generate; edify yourselves, and leave a trail of excellence behind. As you do however, remember our guiding mantra for the year-  "Moneague College; uniting and collaborating for growth and sustainability" so sanitize regularly, practice physical distancing of six feet apart, wear your mask and be safe.

 It is my hope that you will discover over the course of your study at the Moneague College that you have entered a warm-hearted, dynamic, challenging, diverse, and supportive community; contribute generously to maintaining and advancing this ethos. Seek out the opportunities that will be presented to you to socialize, integrate and have fun.

Never forget the real purpose for coming here.  I encourage you to go forth in a spirit of exploration and adventure. Try new things and develop a thirst for knowledge. Yield to the demands of academia and develop an appreciation for new ideas and alternative ways of thinking.

Get to know faculty, they will challenge you, stimulate your mind, guide you, and open doors to new possibilities for you. They are qualified, competent and willing to hold your hand as you traverse the learning landscape. The support administrative and Ancillary staff will be  helpful in facilitating your career goals. Know these personnel; know how their office could make your journey at the institution, smoother. Allow yourself to be assisted; seek the help you need.
