I am Chelee Kerr, Head of the School of Education.  The School of Education comprises a cadre of qualified and experienced full- time and adjunct staff committed to advancing the careers of pre-service and in-service teachers. Being the primary professionalism arm of the teacher training programme, we pride ourselves on coaching, mentoring and facilitating pedagogical and theoretical soundness in professional courses and the aesthetics to just under 350 trainees specialising in Primary, Early Childhood and Secondary Business Education across our 3 campuses.

Our mantra – Today’s Teacher Trainee: Tomorrow’s Dynamic Change Agent – speaks to the conviction we have that each student enrolled in our B. Ed. programme can contribute to nation-building by being a positive change agent and transformational leader. We remain purposeful in our resolve to produce graduates who are globally competitive educators thorough sustained value – added engagements catering to students’ holistic development.
