School of Humanities
The School of Humanities welcomes all new and aspiring students to The Moneague College. We use this opportunity to share with you our offerings, with the hope that you will find the clarity you need to make a selection from the programmes that are managed by this School.
Three main programmes are administered by the School of Humanities, and are accredited by the University Council of Jamaica. These are:

While associate programmes are usually seen as first steps towards ultimate careers, allow us to share with you some careers that can be fundamentally attained from pursuing these areas of study.

Social Work – Social Worker, Probation Officer, Case manager, Human Services Specialist

Criminal Justice – Immigration Officer, Corrections Officer, Private Investigator, Police Officer

Psychology – Dean of Discipline, Guidance Counsellor, Career Counsellor, Psychologist.

The School of Humanities is driven by a competent and multi-faceted team consisting of experts in the fields of Psychology, Social Work, Law, History, Education and Criminology. As a result, we offer support services to other Faculties and Schools through courses such as Caribbean Studies, Sociology, History, Geography, Research and Introduction to Psychology among others. While The School of Humanities prides itself on Accountability and Transparency, it is equally important to us that we uphold our mantra of being “The School that Cares.”
