FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS
The Moneague College offers financial assistance by way of both grants and scholarships that are available to students in the form of credits to their tuition accounts. Students who are in need of financial assistance are encouraged to apply for a grant or if they meet the requirements; a scholarship.
The financial assistance that is offered fall under different categories:

Performance-Based: Scholarship is given on the basis of a student’s academic achievements

Affiliation-specific: There are financial assistance that are available to students of a specific community or group.

Programme-specific: Funding is granted to students who pursue a particular course.

Athletic: Scholarship is given to students who participate in sports.

Grants are awarded to students on the basis of their financial condition and satisfying specific conditions related to each grant.
Scholarships are awarded by a number of funding sources. These can include businesses, religious groups, individuals, community organizations, college departments or the alumni.
Grants usually come from the college or specific units within the college itself.
Eligibility
Students of the Moneague College are eligible to apply for both grants and scholarships. However, there are specific requirements for each such as:

Attendance at classes

Performance

Participation in co-curricular activities

Recommendation

General deportment

Having a financial need
All applicants will be invited to an interview as part of the selection process.
Scholarships
Scholarships are generally awarded based on academic or extra-curricular merit. Students must fill out the requisite application form. All applications must be accompanied by the last academic report, references from lecturers, and an essay detailing a need for the scholarship. Applicants for a Scholarship must have an average B+ and have completed at least 5 courses in the last semester. The application deadline is the last Friday in June unless otherwise advised.
Grants
Grants offered by the institution are on the basis of a need. Students must follow a similar process as applicants for a scholarship. Candidates for a grant must have maintained a minimum of C+ average, having done at least five courses in the last semester.
