It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Moneague College Library, It is my wish that you will have a productive year with us. Please note the information below. 

All students of the College (Main Campus, Port Maria, Linstead) automatically qualify to be members of the Library. Full-time students are allowed to borrow two books at any given time while part-time students are allowed to borrow one. The Library houses a number of materials within its collection ranging from Fiction, Non-Fiction, Reference and West Indian Collection. Such materials include books, journals, periodical, newspaper clippings and audio/visual whether in print or electronic form. The Library subscribes to online databases such as ProQuest, EbscoHost, Ebrary and Springer which gives access to thousands of current information worldwide. The collection attempts to provide coverage for all areas of study at the institution.

Lending materials are loaned for a period of two weeks while reference materials are to be used in the library only. At the Librarian’s discretion, loans for reference materials can be made for overnight or weekend use. A fine is attached to all print materials that are overdue. There is a user-friendly catalogue you can use to search the Library’s collection. You can search by name, subject or author. The Library also offers printing, photocopying, binding and laminating services at a low cost. The Librarian offers consultation sessions on research writing, the use of online sources, use of APA 6th/7th edition, use of Turnitin, and assignment queries.
